Lincoln Christian University (LCU) is in the heart of Illinois and has a passion for students to take a new course and impact the world. They sought out Timberline Team to complete an assessment of their Marketing, Brand Strength, and Enrollment process. Upon reporting the findings, the president and senior cabinet asked us to partner long term with them in Marketing and Enrollment. Projects included: setting new brand standards; developing interior design standards; building a new university wide website; implementing a new Content Management System; capturing and organizing all photo/collateral of the school; creating and utilizing the full scale admissions process; and help guiding student recruitment strategies for all four of their verticals.
“Integrity has two meanings. The first means to present something in its entirety. Many marketing firms will write a story and then put you in it. While often serviceable, this isn’t usually very compelling. That’s not surprising, really, because an incomplete story isn’t much of a story. Dave Grout and the Timberline Team didn’t show up with a story; they took the time to learn ours. Once they really understood it, they helped us better show how compelling it is. I believe this approach reflects the other meaning of integrity, which refers to one’s moral or ethical compass. Your organization’s story is too valuable to be handed over to someone you don’t trust. Dave has demonstrated his own strength of character time and again, and he has held the other members of his team to that same level of accountability.
